Two of our members, Vivianna Fang He and Diletta Di Marco presented their work for the broader group! Vivianna Fang He highlighted her ethnographic work of the “Bitcoin War” where she delves into how networked collectives manage conflict where traditional strategies are not present or are ineffective. Following Vivianna, Diletta showcased her mixed-methods study about open social innovation as an approach to tackling grand challenges. More specifically, she presented critical factors and typologies which may prove essential for effective crowd management.
